Manual impact drivers are very simple tools.
Step1. Choose the right bit to fit the screw. Then insert bit into screw head.
Step2. Apply downward pressure, while at the same time attempting to turn the impact driver in the direction you want the screw to turn. This is generally counterclockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten.

Step3. Then use the hammer down once or twice and you will loosen or tighten the screw enough to loosen or tighten it with a regular screwdriver.
